KIM’s Rapid Video Response (RVR) system enables an emergency call handler to send a video link immediately to a caller via text message. Once received the victim would have the option to connect with a waiting police officer who would conduct the virtual first response via a recorded video call. KIM’s RVR system enables organisations to rapidly react to the crime and triage the incident virtually. From this point the system will create an immediate case for a victim and save off the initial video call file in our secure UK Azure hosted software. The system allows for the next steps of the case to be managed effectively by both the officer and the victim. There is a provision for the victim to upload any case files or evidence including; live captured videos, photos, documents, screenshots or other media types that may be considered as evidence.
The system can be used to manage all relevant resources around the specific needs of the victim. KIM’s RVR system hosts multiple communication functions confidentially and can enable invited agencies to have permitted access to a case via the My Case function.
Our UK Azure cloud-hosted, data-encrypted software, which is Government compliant, is available through a supported browser, smartphones and tablet devices, providing a 24/7 resource for staff. No other ICT infrastructure is required.
KIM Software has worked closely with UK Police forces, Government agencies and large organisations for over two decades and has used this experience to build software that streamlines processes enabling cost reductions, whilst efficiently and effectively managing cases within their organisational community.
Our software has been thoughtfully developed, with the help and collaboration of organisations and National leads within the public sector, to provide the tools and resources to effectively support individuals that find themselves affected by crime.
Some of the many benefits of the system are;
KIM has provided a unique software feature within the app that benefits both organisations and recipients. Where cases are recorded the software can facilitate any associated file uploads, including the following file types; video, CCTV, audio, photographic, documents and scanned handwritten statements. Where needed. Sensitive material can be saved and held as ‘private’ for selective users.
KIM Software’s work extends beyond the supply of rapid video response software to include the ongoing review of legislation and best practices to ensure that we deliver systems that remain current whilst delivering real benefits to users. This includes working together with professional associations to help shape our software going forward.
We are always excited to work with new and current partners and clients embracing technology to support the growth and development of services.
