MyCase Support

Impactful support for individuals experiencing domestic abuse and coercive control.

Our platform has been thoughtfully developed to help individuals take an impactful and empowering approach to reporting, communicating and engaging with agencies and authorities.

KIM’s MyCase support enables individuals to create a digital journal of matters related to their experience of domestic abuse. Safe, secure and available to licence for any given amount of time, it allows for an individual to gather a document bank of all aspects of their survivor journey pulling together all the key, specific and accurate information into one space. This allows the required elements of the information to be shared with the relevant agency, solicitor or authority that is involved with their case efficiently and effectively.

Additional features include evidence upload functionality, AI driven assistance for guidance to alleviate expensive legal advice while delivering the rights under the victims code.

Our UK Azure cloud-hosted, data-encrypted software, which is Government and NHS-compliant, is available through a supported browser, smartphones and tablet devices, providing a 24/7 resource for staff. No other ICT infrastructure is required.

Our MyCase Support licence starts from £5 per month for an individual. Equally, a licence can be provided where agencies purchase licences on behalf of individuals they are supporting.

Developed Through Experience

KIM Software has worked closely with UK Police forces, Government agencies and collaborated with national leads within these organisations, to provide innovative software solutions that are equipped with the digital tools and resources to enable the effective support of individuals that find themselves affected by crime.

Some of the many benefits of the system are,

  • Individuals have immediate access to signposting, email templates, and web resources.
  • AI assisted guidance, prompts, case studies and best practices.
  • There is an option for an individual to add their own series of web resources that best suit their requirements. The platform enables an individual to collate self help reference in an organised fashion.
  • The platform can be safely used away from personal email accounts delivering complete assurance that the integrity of their case is secure.
  • Individuals can build a historical timeline of events to strengthen their case, and host supporting administrative elements collectively.
  • The individual can select the relevant documentation to share with third parties. This is especially helpful where different elements of the case information are relevant for different stakeholders along the process of safeguarding.
  • The platform has the ability to upload various media types, to include; video, CCTV, audio, photographic, documents and scanned statements.
  • The individual has the ability to redact information in documents that need to be sanitised.

In addition to the above features, the staff app enables remote working, in real-time, reducing the need for staff to return to a physical point for administration purposes. The system also provides automated text and email alerts for those within the organisation.

KIM has provided a unique software feature within the app that benefits both organisations and recipients. Where cases are recorded the software can facilitate any associated file uploads, including the following file types; video, CCTV, audio, photographic, documents and scanned handwritten statements. Where needed. Sensitive material can be saved and held as ‘private’ for selective users.
