LearnPro Group, backed by Apiary Capital, a leading provider of Public Safety technology for bluelight, regulated and high‑risk industries, has announced the acquisition of KIM Software Solutions (KIM).
Founded in 1999, KIM is a long‑established UK technology provider specialising in secure, cloud‑hosted records, evidence, and asset management systems. It is a trusted supplier to UK policing, security and public‑sector organisations, with its modular solutions supporting the lifecycle management of evidential property, records, and archives.
KIM’s systems are used by around 20 UK police forces, as well as by several key government agencies.
The deal, strengthens LearnPro Group’s presence in the Policing & Security market through accessing KIM’s extensive and longstanding presence in the sector, whilst expanding its range of ERP, HR, Learning and asset management products.

KIM’s portfolio includes cloud‑hosted systems for police property and evidence management, records and archive management, secure physical and digital media storage, personal development recording and migrating legacy systems and data to new technical platforms with the provision for enabling AI. All solutions are UK‑hosted, GDPR compliant, and aligned with the security and governance requirements of policing and government organisations.
KIM’s employees will join LearnPro Group as part of the acquisition, with key leadership roles remaining in place during a phased transition period.
The combined organisation will focus on developing a broader, customer‑led ecosystem that supports specialist ERP, operational governance and virtual reality simulations across policing, security, and other regulated sectors.
This announcement follows LearnPro Group’s recent acquisitions of Ignis Technologies and RiVR.
