Care Case Management

Innovative software that facilitates the management of care

Our software has been thoughtfully developed with care providers and with the recipients of that care in mind.

KIM’s Care Case Management platform enables organisations to plan and evidence care provided accurately and with ease. Alongside this are the benefits of audit and accountability, reporting, cost savings, compliance and ultimately an improved delivery of care.

Our UK Azure cloud hosted, data encrypted software, which is Government and NHS compliant, is available through any supported browser, smartphones and tablet devices, providing a 24/7 resource for staff. No other ICT infrastructure is required.

Developed through experience

KIM Software have worked closely with UK Police forces, Government agencies and large organisations for over two decades and have used this experience to build software that streamlines processes enabling cost reductions, whilst efficiently and effectively managing cases within their organisational community.
The platform provides care organisations with the ability to record care information and utilise automated features that improve efficiency. The platform offers staff, the facility to handover, a feature that allows for important information to be briefed when operated between shifts, bringing departments together for case management.

Some of the many benefits of the system to staff are the ability to;

  • Create checklists, produce reports on all areas – to include medication, feeding, activities and appointments and update medication administration records.
  • Manage care plans.
  • Manage care recipient calendars and events.
  • Review care cases – which can be periodic and set as flagged events,
  • Staff can also export cases or provide access to care cases to third parties and external agencies – access to this up-to-date information is time limited and governed by the care organisation itself.

Senior staff members have the facility to create staff location reports and are able to manage staff CPD.

In addition to the above features, the staff app enables remote working, in real time, reducing the need for staff to return to the care centre for administration purposes. The system also provides for automated text and email alerts for those within the organisation.

There are beneficial features for the care recipients also, via use of the KIM’sCare app, to include, the ability to contact the care provider directly or to access resources – as provided by the care organisation.

KIM have provided a unique software feature within the app that benefits both staff and care recipients. This is the facility to make live video calls in urgent situations. An important feature for those individuals in domiciliary care and supported living and those staff working in the field. Calls of this nature, received at the care providers office, are saved into the case record.

There can be wide ranging issues that cover all kinds of care, personal or security issues, for example: the platform can assist with the management of current situations that could be continuously evolving and facilitate the roll out of the relevant procedures and guidelines across an organisation. Where cases are recorded the software can facilitate any associated file uploads, to include the following file types; video, CCTV, audio, photographic, documents and scanned, handwritten statements. Where needed. Sensitive material can be saved and held as ‘private’ for selective users.

Software Solutions

KIM Software’s work extends beyond the supply of care case management software to include the ongoing review of legislation and best practice to ensure that we deliver systems that remain current whilst delivering real benefit to users. This includes working together with professional associations to help shape our software going forward.
